A commercial mortgage funds the purchase or refinance of property used for business, from a small high-street shop to an industrial warehouse. Lenders look at the business behind the deal, the property itself and (for owner-occupied premises) affordability based on your trading accounts.

Two main flavours: owner-occupier (you'll trade from the premises) and commercial investment (you'll lease it to a tenant). The lender pool, criteria and rates differ between the two.

Commercial deals usually take longer than residential, expect 8–12 weeks for a straightforward case, longer for anything unusual. We project-manage the process so you can keep running your business.
